It provides support so that you can use a regular mattress on a Queen size bed rather than having to use a specific day bed mattress or box spring. Bed slats can also be used as extra support for your box spring and mattress! This lays below the mattress on the bed frame. The slats are held together with a Green & White Zebra Faux Fur Fabric Roll. This makes it really easy to roll up and transport, and also helps to keep the slats in position.
